Outpatient Therapy Services performed at Evergreen

Occupational Therapy – focusing on upper extremities to help improve your ability to manage day to day living through bathing, grooming, dressing and eating skills
Physical Therapy – including muscle strengthening and retraining, transfer techniques, stair climbing, training in the use of prosthetics, gait training and equipment training
Speech and Language Pathology – evaluating your understanding and use of language, speech production, voice and swallowing ability
Specialized rehabilitation programs such as:
Neurological Rehabilitation/Falls reduction – electrical current to promote normal muscle function and strength, re-education of basic skills through hands-on techniques and exercises and retraining normal movement to improve mobility
Pain Management – to help treat pain, edema and contractures
Urinary Incontinence – teaches exercises to encourage bladder control and re-education of bladder muscles
